GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper peptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. First identified in 1973, it has since become one of the most studied peptides in regenerative and anti-aging research.
GHK-Cu is a tripeptide (three amino acids: glycine, histidine, lysine) with a strong affinity for copper ions. The copper complex is what gives this peptide its unique biological properties. GHK-Cu levels in the body naturally decline with age, dropping from about 200 ng/mL at age 20 to 80 ng/mL by age 60.
GHK-Cu is available in several forms for different research applications: - Injectable — For systemic research applications - Topical — For skin and wound healing studies - Lyophilized powder — For custom formulation research
