Here's the one twist: because this vial holds double the IU, mixing with the same 2 mL means each syringe unit carries twice the IU of a 5000 vial. If you'd rather keep the exact same unit markings you'd use on a 5000iu vial (10 units = 250 IU), add 4 mL instead — same total IU, just more dilute.
