The Shred & Bulk Stack is the natural evolution of the Shredder Stack: keep all three fat-loss layers (Reta, Tesamorelin, MOTS-C), and add a co-formulated CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin 10mg vial to push the growth hormone axis harder. The result is a research protocol that targets fat reduction and lean mass amplification simultaneously, rather than sequentially. This article walks through what CJC + Ipa adds, why it doesn't redundantly stack with tesamorelin, and how the combination has been used in research.
For researchers building a recomp protocol: code WELCOME unlocks 35% off the Shred & Bulk Stack (Reta 20mg + Tesa + MOTS-C + CJC + Ipa 10mg co-formulated) and the extended V2 version with 3× of each GH and metabolic component. This is the most cost-efficient way to source matched-batch material across all four mechanisms.
The base Shredder Stack already touches the GH axis through tesamorelin. So why add another GH-focused combo on top?
The answer is that CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin work on different parts of the GH cascade than tesamorelin does, and the three together produce a different pattern of GH release than tesamorelin alone.
GH release in vivo requires both a GHRH signal (the "go" signal) and a ghrelin/GHRP signal (the "amplifier"). Tesamorelin alone activates only the first. Adding ipamorelin activates the second. Adding CJC-1295 alongside ipamorelin produces a stronger, more sustained GHRH signal that ipamorelin then amplifies.
The result is a larger and longer GH pulse than any single peptide produces, with downstream IGF-1 elevation that supports lean mass even more aggressively than tesamorelin alone.
The Shred & Bulk Stack includes a single 10mg vial that contains 5mg of CJC-1295 (no DAC) + 5mg of Ipamorelin pre-blended. Two practical reasons for the co-formulation:
The 5mg + 5mg ratio is the most common research ratio for this combination and matches the published literature on CJC + Ipa dosing patterns.
The phrasing matters. Most recomposition protocols are honest about what they primarily do: lose fat, preserve muscle. The Shred & Bulk framing is intentionally more aggressive because the GH amplification from CJC + Ipa actively pushes toward lean mass gain, not just preservation. In research:
That's the difference. The CJC + Ipa addition is the difference between "preserve" and "augment" on the lean mass side.
The four-compound stack still passes the no-overlap test:
| Compound | Primary mechanism | Time of action |
| Reta | GP-1/GIP/glucagon — appetite, EE, partitioning | Weekly, sustained |
| Tesamorelin | GHRH — daily GH pulse | Daily, single pulse |
| CJC + Ipa | GHRH + GHRP — augmented GH pulse | Daily/twice-daily, augmented pulses |
| MOTS-C | AMPK — mitochondrial fat oxidation | Multiple weekly doses |
Tesamorelin and CJC do both target GHRH, which is the one place the stack has any redundancy. In practice, the additional GHRH activation from CJC produces a larger total GH pulse than tesamorelin alone — the curves don't fully overlap because of the ghrelin-pathway amplification ipamorelin contributes.
Some research protocols simplify by dropping tesamorelin when CJC + Ipa is included, on the logic that CJC alone covers the GHRH side. The trade-off: tesamorelin has decades of standalone clinical data; CJC + Ipa as a co-formulated daily protocol has less. The published data behind tesamorelin is one reason most stack protocols keep it in the mix.
A typical Shred & Bulk research protocol over 12 weeks:
That's two daily injections (tesa + CJC/Ipa) plus a weekly reta injection plus 2-3 weekly MOTS-C injections — a substantial protocol burden, which is why most researchers running this stack use morning + evening injection windows to keep it manageable.
GH naturally pulses during slow-wave sleep. The CJC + Ipa combination is most commonly dosed at bedtime (or split into morning + bedtime) for two reasons:
Tesamorelin can be dosed earlier in the day or also at bedtime — the daily timing matters less for tesa than for the CJC + Ipa pulse-augmentation logic.
The same caveats from the Shredder Stack still apply, plus a couple specific to GH amplification:
These aren't reasons to avoid the stack — they're reasons to monitor more carefully than with the simpler protocol.
The base Shred & Bulk Stack (1× of each) only carries about 10 days of the daily compounds — a short pilot or the opening of a longer protocol. The Shred & Bulk V2 (1× Reta 20mg, 3× Tesa, 3× MOTS-C, 3× CJC + Ipa) covers a full month of all four at standard dosing.
For longer protocols, the modular approach is to source the V2 stack and add additional individual vials of whatever runs out first — typically Tesa and CJC + Ipa, since they're daily-dose components.
The Shred & Bulk Stack is the Shredder Stack with the lean-mass volume turned up. The CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin addition isn't redundant with tesamorelin — it amplifies a different part of the GH cascade and produces a measurably larger pulse. The four-compound combination targets every major axis of body recomposition simultaneously.
Code WELCOME unlocks 35% off the Shred & Bulk Stack, the extended V2 version, and any individual vials you want to add for a longer protocol. Every vial — Reta, Tesa, MOTS-C, CJC + Ipa — ships with a batch-matched COA and 99%+ HPLC purity verification, all from a US facility.
